Bora Bora Paradise

Bora Bora Paradise, Bora Bora really is the most beautiful island on earth. The perfect Pacific island paradise.
Bora Bora ParadiseBora Bora Paradise

Bora Bora Paradise - is almost entirely dependent on tourism. Over the last few years several resorts have been built on motu (small islands, from Tahitian) surrounding the lagoon. Thirty years ago, Hotel Bora Bora built the first over-the-water bungalows on stilts over the lagoon and today, over-water bungalows are a standard feature of most Bora Bora resorts. The quality of those bungalows ranges from comparably cheap, basic accommodations to very luxurious and expensive places to stay. Most of the tourist destinations are aqua-centric; however it is possible to visit attractions on land such as WWII cannons. Air Tahiti has five or six flights daily to the Bora Bora Airport on Motu Mute from Tahiti (as well as from other islands). The island is served by Bora Bora Airport on Motu Mete in the north, with Air Tahiti providing daily flights to and from Papeete on Tahiti.

Although French and Tahitian are the main languages spoken by the inhabitants, people in contact with tourists generally have some command of English. Most visitors to Bora Bora are American, Japanese, or European.[citation needed] Public transport on the island is non-existent. Rental cars and bicycles are the recommended method of transport. There are also small fun-cars for hire in Vaitape. Snorkeling and scuba diving in and around the lagoon of Bora Bora are popular activities. Many species of sharks and rays inhabit the surrounding body of water. There are a few dive operators on the island offering manta ray dives and also shark-feeding dives.
In addition to the existing islands of Bora Bora (called motu), the new man-made motu of Motu Marfo has been added in the north-eastern corner of the lagoon on the property of the St. Regis Resort.

Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort And Spa

Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort and Spa - Guests arrive at the only floating lobby in French Polynesia via private yacht from the quaint Bora Bora airport. Each room has an ocean view and all are suite-sized; some perched on a lush tropical hillside, others along a white sand beach and still others 'floating' above the crystal blue lagoon, complete with windows in the floor and a lanai with steps going directly to the water. The 122-room resort weaves native materials like curly kahia wood, tapas cloth and mother of pearl throughout, beautifully intertwining island d??cor with the latest in modern conveniences.

The resort also features a hilltop, indoor-outdoor 'spa-with-a-jaw-dropping-view,' a 1,000-meter infinity pool that seemingly melts into the lagoon, a half-mile white sand beach with complimentary water toys; the Iriatai restaurant that pairs fine fusion cuisine with stunning horizon views and the Tamure Grill that offers casual, feet-in-the-sand dining. Exclusive features of the two, new Overwater Presidential Villas include an open air floor plan with modern island decor; deep, sleek bathtubs against full glass walls looking on the blue, blue lagoon, a plunge pool on the lower deck, a spiral staircase and a wellness/massage/sauna room upstairs along with a gazebo, hot tub and bar on the upstairs deck. Guests can also enjoy special excursions to the Nui's very own, private, 'deserted' island called Motu Tapu, which is the most photographed islet in the South Pacific.
